There is an alternative of fossil fuels which are bio fuels such as algae fuels. In algae fuels, algae are used as its natural deposits. Many companies and organizations are focusing to raise the production of algae fuels and make it more valuable to the market. Fossil fuels release CO2 on their burning and in a similar way Harvested algae also produces CO2 when burnt. Every other day brings new ideas and revolutions and technology is getting advanced day by day. Government and private companies are putting efforts on the manufacture of new products.
Because of high oil prices, completion between different products and world food crises has also developed interest in production of algae. It can be used for making vegetable oil, bio diesel, bio ethanol, bio gasoline, bio methanol, bio butane and other bio fuels. It can be cultivated from the land which is not suitable for agriculture. The characteristics of algae fuels include that fresh water resources are not affected by those fuels. They can be produced by using sea water, and waste water. They are non toxic to the environment.
Carbon dioxide is also one of the major products for combustion. There is no such effective method to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide because whenever there is combustion processes emission of carbon dioxide is mandatory. The only way is to reduce the amount of fuel which stops the emission of carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is non toxic but lead to green house effects and global warming.
Carbon mono oxide is typically formed when there is incomplete combustion. It is due to the incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons where oxidation process does not give proper time for the reaction occurring. There are also sufficient amount of hydrocarbons emission, which is due to the non sufficient temperature. This generally occur near the cylinder wall such as quenching wall and the temperature of the mixture of air and fuel is low at quenching wall than the centre of the cylinder. Because of these low temperatures bulk quenching can also occur. The emission of hydrocarbons to an appreciable extent can be due to the bad design engine injections system.
Answer 3
Reserves are the storage deposits of oil which can be recovered when needed. Proven Reserves are those reserves which can be recovered for commercial use with reasonable certainty whereas; Probable reserves are not recovered more than proven reserves. Proven reserves are also measured reserves and quantity is known because of detailed sampling and geological character. Probable reserves are the chance reserves and calculated to use additional information of proven reserves. There is less degree of assurance of probable reserves than proven reserves. There is the requirement of more drill hole data in case of proven reserves. Thickness and geological character are similar through the formation that is why difference is due to the degree of certainty. SEC can only recognize proven and probable reserves. Sometimes drill hole data and other important data are distant to consider the important of continuity ...
