Species of organisms that are at higher risk of extinction are termed as endangered species. Before anthropogenic global warming, regional pressure was exerted on species including habitat destruction and overhunting. It is said that the main cause of extinction is the climatic changes specially the rise in temperature instead of deforestation alone. It is firmly believed that by the researches that the effects of rising temperature are making it difficult for species to reproduce both in local as well as global levels (Bolten, 2010).
