Such mishaps, misfortunes and adversities are bound to occur, and are even liable to render substantial detriments. When an organization or a firm falls prey of such unfortunate incidences, there is no doubt about the fact that it causes the firm to suffer and endure the loss, which is caused by the incident in numerous aspects. However, in the given scenario, what more important is that how well a company is prepared to evade such crisis, and tackle the situation, for minimizing as much detriments that possibly can be minimized. For this purpose a firm not only needs to be equipped with certain imperative gadgets, but also be trained to react (the employees or staff) in a certain predetermined manner, to avoid the damages or losses, being bestowed via the situation.

Emergency Situation Which Could Arise In Organization Or Workplace

As mentioned earlier, there are numerous emergency situations that can arise in an organization at any point of time; however, amongst such emergency situations, the most common situation that may arise in an organization pertains to the fire that breaks out. The fire itself is believed to be an extremely detrimental disaster and emergency situation that may befall on the organization. Primarily because not only does it cause immense threat to the life and safety of the workforce or individuals that are present there in the organization, but it may cause serious damage to the assets, documents and other resources of the firm, rendering it both financial and non financial losses. Our organization is logistic oriented company basically, which means that there will be numerous goods and substances, which are used in the logistics processes, and are subjected to hazardous consequences, if they come in contact with the fire. Apart from chemicals, oil and specific metals, the work stations and offices primarily have wood work done on floor, cabinets, and walls of specific cabins. Hence, not only can the situation get worse, if fire breaks out, with respect to chemicals, oil and metals, but also can rendered substantial damage to the work stations of the employees, spreading fire all around the firm (Cloud, 2006, p. 111).

Training Needs Of The Staff For Assurance Of Emergencies Management

It is highly imperative that rather than executing the post disaster steps to overcome what has been lost, certain measures must be adopted that can be critical in minimizing the damages, as much as possible. Therefore, in order to minimize the potential damage not only is it important that the firm encompasses certain gadgets and resources that are pivotal in this regard, but also that the staff and the work force is adequately trained to respond in the composed and manageable manner to avoid any harms and detriments.
