Introduction

Due to the immense level of security threats that are prevailing, it is really important that organizations encore high levels of security at all time. We must ensure that we have security checkpoints at all the locations where there is any risk. Planning would play a critical role in the whole process. A security plan would consist of two components namely physical and cyber (Parry, G. (2011).

Furthermore, it is important that we have a well-established site map through which we would be able to figure out the sensitive areas and areas which shall be easily accessible. Firstly, we must enable a guard post, at each access point so that we could verify whoever needs entry. Fencing and barricades should be set all around the site. Exterior lighting should be set up, so that the strategic locations such as gate and guard posts could be provided with highlighted in a more extensive manner (Alexander, D. E. (2002).

Electronic access shall be ensured that for all the people who are part of the organization, so that their identity verification could be done on consistent basis. This could be done in three ways. Firstly it could be done by the employee himself by displaying his access card. Secondly, it could be done by the onsite-guard. Thirdly, it could be doe remotely by the security operations division, clear visibility of the individual would be needed for this to happen. However, most of the time the identification and verification is done through the first two ways.
