In case of any emergency or the occurrence of any disastrous situation, an implementation of proper evacuation plan facilitate in saving the lives of millions. Hence, in case of emergency, evacuation of the people is major issues which the authorities face. This essay will be focusing on emergency evacuation and the plan for the management.

Need for the Study

The need for carrying out this study got importance from the fact that in many buildings falling or risk of fire is high value for the property in the form of raw materials or finished products, priceless technological equipment, machinery and equipment, works of art, objects of inestimable cultural value. A lot of accidental emergency situations have been all over the world which have given importance to the planning of managing emergency situations. There is always a risk of emergency in an organization and management has to give an appropriate attention for the evacuation.

Target Audience

The audience targeted for carrying out this study will be the employees some of the organizations, fire fighters, workers from the factories, respective personnels from the disaster management teams and people belonging to labor divisions, .

Study Purpose

Evacuation the organized movement of people, sometimes along with their belongings, to the point where there is a threat to a safe area .Evacuation of action can be both relatively small scale, such as removing people from a single building at risk of fire , as well as can be a big and complex campaign logistics , as in the case of areas threatened by enemy action during the war , or areas affected by the element (e.g flooding ) (Stollard, 1994).

Objectives of the Research

The main objective of the research is to find the facts regarding the topic under discussion and emphasizing on the policies, which the organizations have formulated in order to handle such disastrous or emergency situations.
