Introduction

This report is based on the health and equality related to the issues of health and social care. First section of the report provides the outline of the policy and in issues around equality relation to Elieen Munro report. The second section provides the analyses of one or two of the factors that influenced the policy from social, political, economic and cultural perspectives. The third section provides the theoretical framework using one or two concepts from sociology, functionalism, Marxism or Social constructionism. The last section deals with the review the policy using independent research. The various sections of the report are based on the report provided by Elieen Munro.

Section 1 Outline of the policy (Eileen Munro Report)

As mentioned in the report the system approach will help in understanding the previous reforms and how they have been beneficial in reviewing the policies that can help to improve the system. It also helps social workers to improve the policies. Child abuse and neglect has been given high importance for many decades. Many reformas have been set by the past governments but the review of these reforms is necessary and these reformned are designed by well informed people. The reforms which have been formed previously donot lead to improvement in the frontline. Similalrly, they were also creating problem as they were not clear enough (Eileen Munro, 2010).

The Munro review of child protection deals with the improvement of child protection services. This report defines the effective child protection system set out and the reforms which are helpful in providing such system. This report deals with the child's journey and his protection from abuse and neglect. It provides analysis of reforms which keeps the demand and rigidity by protection and inspection. There is a requirement of providing greater flexibility to the needs of young children and providing focused interventions. Inspection plays a prominent role in improving the services of the children. It is effective in improving the quality of the organization and learning which is in compliance with the process. Inspection carries a certain amount of burden which is associated with providing the benefit to the children (Aldgate, 2002, p. 147). The report also focuses in providing guidance for the working. The report in 2010 described the policies and the current conditions which are used to access the four key forces of child protection.
