Electroshock Weapon

Electroshock weapon

Introduction

The plan of electric weapons was first introduced ??by the Nazis. It was the work of quite a few models of this weapon, but the best known amid them is the electric gun. The electric gun was able to send 750 shell displaying 6 inches at a distance of 90 miles per minute. It was fed by hollow bullets carter. When the gun is launched Solenoids produce strong magnetic field to magnetize the missile (or any other shell) and throw a large force outside the pipe. This weapon was effectual against small targets such as short-term concentrations due to long-range (Houldsworth, 2006, 113).

Discussion

Electroshock weapon is equipment which is intended for a person who wants to administer an electric shock that disrupts superficial muscle functions. This weapon has been manufactured for over 10 years, as dependable and safe in the market. It unloads electric current through 2 small electrodes that organize high voltage and low amperage on the attacker's body, for the time being disabled. These devices are best known from 100,000 volts to 1,000,000 volts and more. The attackers who endeavour to accept an electric attack are left with being paralyzed or neutralized. Effectual means of defence serve as prevention due to the sound and blaze it produces. Only the electrical energy in the air is often sufficient for the attacker, as the bright electric current pulsates creates a thrilling sound of pressure that leaves the attacker standing (Houldsworth, 2006, 113).

How It Works

By only stirring, the assailant, by 2 to 5 seconds to download a high electrical energy shock which cause loss of stability, power absorption, perplexity and disorientation. The person falls to the ground and becomes neutralized by a period of 5 to 15 minutes without causing physical injury. The current applied to the assailant cannot be transmitted to the user's body. These devices are officially permitted in most of America. Only a few states have some constraint or prohibited such as in New York, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Illinois, New Jersey, Indiana, Michigan, Hawaii and Rhode Island (Houldsworth, 2006, 113).

Examples of Electro-Shock Weapons

Inaccessible stun gun, shoots two electrodes - a probe with condensed gas, at a distance of 4.5 m to 10 m. The probes are linked by thin insulated wires to a basis of high electrical energy in the case of armaments. The probes strike the target electric spark release voltage of 50 thousand volts, which passes over the wire and penetrates the layer of outer clothing to five centimetres thick. In the array of contact and a round sequence, the voltage drops to 12 thousand volts; this paralyzes the person, while the current flows through the wires (Houldsworth, 2006, 113).

The company Taser was found in 1993. In 1999, the company released a model Advanced Taser in two models: M26 - for the police and M18 - for citizens. In 2003, the corporation released a police model DESHU - x26. In 2007, for the national marketplace, the company issued a civil H26S altered and ...
