The author has basically tried to identify the Egyptian culture and religion, that has taken twists in the past, the author has tried to portray the picture of how the culture and religion of Egypt was and how much the religion of Egypt was affected by the culture, environment and other things.

He was even a professor at the University of London. Frankfort was born on 1897, and became am an American citizen on 1944.

As per my analysis I think that the author has used authentic sources, as himself has been a researcher and explorer himself, but, The author has been criticized a lot for the sources he has used, as the critics thinks that he was very much judgmental, where as he should have been logical.

Summary of the book

Delving into Egyptian theology, the author of this book Henri has not only phrased out the ancient religion of Egypt, but he has also written about the society that the Egyptians had, the political mission, government, and philosophy. Henri has enlightened nearly all aspects of environment in this book, which may comprise of goals of a country existing in today's era.

This book by Henri Frankfort was published in the year 1948, after the extensive studies carried out by him over years, and after he got over with his research, he wrote a book and elucidated his experiences and what he had drawn out of his research in the book. The study carried out by Henri is an enlarged version of the lectures which were sponsored by the American University, and the lectures were delivered a lot of universities like university of Yale, Columbia etc. henri, after so many attempts to decipher the identity of Egyptian religion, he summarizes the approach, methodology and conclusions that coherent Egyptian doctrines were rooted in a basic conviction of a stable changeless (essentially static) universe.
