Introduction

It was between 1939 and 1945 that a major war broke out among the super powers of the world. This war completely changed the world as it was used to be. All the super powers of that time, including the United States, the Soviet Union, France, England, Japan and Germany engaged in terrible wars that left millions of people affected not only physically but also psychologically. In this paper the effects of WWII on the super powers, technology and science, on international politics and prospect of future wars.
