CHAPTER 4: PRESENTATION AND ANALYSIS OF DATA
The objective of this qualitative phenomenological research is to uncover the effects of leadership on corporate culture of training department with internal and outsourced staff. In essence, the research examines the beliefs, thoughts, experiences and perceptions of training department staff in a New York-based early childhood multi-service healthcare with regard to leadership and management practices impacting in cultivating positive corporate culture in an organizational structure with internal and outsourced employees. The data collection included in-depth interviews with 20 training department staff that had direct experiences with phenomenon of working with both internal and outsourced staff. The research gathers the data from the lived experiences of research participants that substantially allowed for significant insights, conclusions and inferences to be drawn with relation to important of aspects of leadership that is impacting the corporate culture of training department of organization that deal with both internal and outsourced employees. The research investigates the leadership practices related to outsourcing and integrating outside employees with internal employees and provide insights into typical experiences of staff in the training department of an organization. In this regard, Chapter 4 presents the presentation and findings of data that included data collection and analyses process based on Moustakas (1994) modified van Kaam phenomenological design as described in the previous chapters.
