I have always thought about the poor people and their living standards. Whenever I go outside and think about the poor people, I feel that what kind of life they are living. I feel that the rate of poverty is increasing day by day. The number of poor people in the world is increasing day by day. I do not have much idea about the total statistics of poverty in the world and my country, but I feel that the number of poor people has raised so much. What I believe is that the main reason of poverty around the globe is income distribution. Throughout the world, there is great inequality in terms of income. Thus, income is the main factor that leads towards the increase and decrease in the poverty level. Poverty has many side effects. It is seen that the people with poverty are more indulged in the crimes and they are more violent in nature than the rich people. Poverty leads towards crime. It is a general phenomenon, when a person does not have proper food and shelter that he indulges in the crimes in order to get these luxuries of life. Many people engaging in the criminal world feel that crimes are the main source of earning revenue and eliminating poverty. Thus, it is said that the poor people should be treated well in order to deal with the poverty. Poverty also leads towards the increase in the rate of diseases and illness. The rate of diseases and illness is higher in the poor people than the rich people. Therefore, it is very necessary for the government to take measures against elimination of poverty. The government can play a huge role in the elimination of poverty which ultimately ends the crime rate and illness rate in the community and country.

Poverty is getting up every morning from a dirt- and illness-stained mattress. The sheets have long since been used for diapers. Poverty is living in a smell that never leaves. Poverty has also been linked to adolescent outcomes through its association with other characteristics of families and parents such as family structure, age, race and ethnicity, and educational attainment. Therefore, the adversities faced by poor families could be a function of economic stress or the fact that parents are most likely to be single, young, minority, less educated and thus predisposed to a host of other economic and social ills that also have negative impacts on youth. Nonetheless, family poverty exposes youth to various individual, family, and community level risk factors, including emotional and behavioural problems; poor academic performance; exposure to marital and family violence; harsh, lax, or inconsistent discipline; poor parental monitoring, residence in areas of concentrated poverty and exposure to lead and other environmental toxins that have been identified as risk factors for youth violence across multiple disciplines.
