Body image comes across as an element that has a direct impact on a person's self esteem. An individual with an inferior body image can be expected to have low confidence and a hesitation to be step forth in places demanding extensive social interaction. Introversion follows and if the external suppression of the body image continues, the person begins to adopt coping mechanisms out of sheer desperation.
