Introduction

The 21st century has much o its interest in educational leadership, as the people have the firm believe on the notion that it's the leadership quality which has the ability to make the significant difference to the school and the outcomes in the educational leadership. Schools are also recognizing the requirement of the leaders and the managers, who are available to teach them the effectiveness of the leadership, and teach them the real value of being the true leader in any field. Every school has the required of the trained, qualified, and experienced teachers, and accordingly they are also required with the leadership of highly effective principal and other staff and managers. Understanding the educational leadership and the different styles of leadership that are capable of coordinating in learning and identifying that which are the most effective styles of leadership that can be used or applied (Kenneth. et.al, 2004).

Most organizations in today's competitive environment are faced with what can be called the leadership crisis. The first and foremost challenge that is being faced by leaders of the future is the creation of an environment that is based upon principles. This is so because many of the leaders today lack courage and vision. They do not create leaders under them and are essentially trapped in a management trap. There are others who have the vision, but do not possess the passion for learning (Kenneth. et.al, 2004). There are different sources of learning. This is to say that learning takes place while seeing things, observing them, sensing them and evaluating our prior experience of the same or related things. In this context, it must be stated that the most important means of learning is communication. Thus this paper articulates the notion of the educational organizational leadership, where different articles have been studied and through those articles theories of leadership has been studied in order to critique on the fundamental theory.

Literature Review

Inaccurate teaching practices like resistance, toxic grading system, infrequent feedback, and inconsistent curriculum to the skills of 21st century such as communication, collaboration and critical thinking are some of the instant results of failing leadership. The leaders who put forward inspirational speeches in talking about the skills required in 21st century but are still observed to be evaluating the teachers according to the assessments that are centuries-old are not suppose to point out at the colleges of education, teachers or union. Because this is known as failing leadership and cannot be stated as the failing teacher since none of the teachers have in mind of messing up a student's career because that is not what they are there for. When leading if we want to follow the requirements of the 21st century for learning and teaching we should be demanding leaders who are capable of providing leadership skills that fulfill these criteria (Tony, 2007).
