Abstract

This dissertation presents an analysis of the role of education sector development in South Africa and its impact on the over-all economy of the country. The first chapter introduces the topic, followed by literature review relevant to the topic in the second chapter. Methodology is presented in the third chapter, while discussion and findings are covered in fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, recommendations and conclusions are included.

South Africa characteristics most apparently in the convoluted of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) of enhancing education and development, accomplishing universal primary education, gender equality and empower women, decrease progeny death, advancing maternal wellbeing, tackling distinct infections, protecting ecological sustainability and developing a global joint project for development  (Findlay, 2006, 92).

 

Problem Statement

Education and development is actually difficult. In some localities of extreme development are declining. In other localities it is too. In South Africa, where the number of people dwelling in extreme illiteracy increase two-fold in the last 20 years, has more than 400 million of 165 million. Reasons for the assessed boost in the high fertility, drought and other ecological conditions, the illiterate farm make are due to the expanded rate of illiteracy.

 

Purpose of the Study

The objective of the study to talk about the influence of education development challenges practices in South Africa.

The objectives of this paper are as follow:
