While introducing the machine, Pressey had assured that the teaching would be given to the students at a much quicker pace and fewer classroom teachers will be required. While using the device in a multiple-choice test, the students have the alternative to refer to various items. Through the button matching, the first choice of answer has to be pressed. In case of the correct choice, the next item is selected; if the device finds it wrong, the error is checked for deviation and the student has to go on making choices until the right answer is obtained. There are some machines which, along with teaching, test and score as well. The instant report submitted by such a self-scoring device poses a vital instructional system effect relative to the manual correction in the exams. Pressey also talked about such machines which had the ability to augment the efficiency in many other ways. It also enables teachers to understand whether they are moving too fast for some students and too slow for others. Those who taught faster are reprimanded, and the slow teachers who go slower teach poorly and are punished by condemnation and for failure. Each student is permitted by the machine to proceed at his own instruction (Skinner, 1968).

The argument and speculation about what it would mean for a computer to be intelligent has been replicated by the initial successes of computers and their intelligent behavior. The absence of ingenuity or insight was focused by it. Until getting to a conclusion, the computer only trailed the rules which were programmed by human, mindlessly. The other side of the fact contradicted that such argument resulting into being intelligent and meaningful was debatable; the evidence of intelligence has been produced by the computer. The psychology became inextricably tied to the AI movement when the question as important as "Can Machines Think?" was asked by the people.

The life given to the imitation amuses and fascinates us. A scientific and psychological approach is used to pursue this desire in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The advent of this concept dates back to Alan Turing who formulated a proposal of “Imitation Game” for the purpose of answering the question "Can Machines Think?” (Adam, Hershberg, Schul, & Solomon, 2004)?

In the Turing Test, a written conversation on any topic is made to be held in human hand with an unseen correspondent. In case the human, while talking to another computer, believes that he is talking to another human, then the computer has deemed to be intelligent and passed the Turing Test. The Turing Test was the first attempt at resolving the question of machine intelligence. This behavioral test judges the intellect, not on the basis of inner processes, but entirely depends on the ability of computer to communicate verbally.

The idea of simulating feelings in computers has been of big attention to AI research and psychology. The feelings and emotions facilitate us with drive and motivation, referring to a set of ...
