Education is viewed as a building block and a pioneer for the prosperity and development of an individual. It is not only associated with a single individual only; instead education has some positive influences that remain ever-lasting on communities and societies. Generally, this view holds that such communities and societies that make a way into education and continuous processes of learning within them are more probable to achieve a superior status in their lives. This similarity can also be considered with a though glance at developed countries of the world, which have better and effectively utilized their efficiencies and potentials just with the help of an influential education process.
Various sociologists and psychologists have regarded education as the key component that proves to be very potential for the development and advancements of society and communities, and ultimately nations. Amongst them, Jean Piaget was also incredibly eminent as he placed great significance on the education for children. He has also been associated with the International Bureau of Education as the Director and in the year 1934, he affirmed that “it is the education that saves our societies from probable collapses, whether gradual, or violent”. “The principal goal of education is to create men who are capable of doing new things, not simply of creating what other generations have done” (Piaget, 1935). Similarly, as many philosopher emphasized greatly on the significance of education on one's life, Piaget was also very eminent amongst them. In his whole life, he worked a lot in the field of education with the main objective of making people known about the importance of getting education. His all work was directly in accordance with the traditional theories of moral development. The main focus of his theory was on the cognitive development of children, but some of the learning theories of Piaget have been verified as wrong, his approaching have sustained for making an important impact teaching practices in the adult education and education of young children. An individual learns and acquires a lot of new things from his environment, the process of learning is continuous and a never-ending process. For instance, some modern researchers have regarded the belief of Piaget as wrong which was about that 'the children are born with some knowledge'. Furthermore, Piaget viewed intellectual development as an expression of the ability of individuals for interacting with the environment, such as nurture versus nature (Jordan et al., 2010).
