Introduction

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the importance of e-learning in an organization. The organization which we have selected is Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in USA. Hospitals are in a phase that e-learning has become very much important for getting better training and education for nurses and doctors. In this paper we will discuss the benefits of e-learning.

What Is E-Learning and what are the Benefits?

The e-learning is a training model that uses new technologies to transmit knowledge and skills. To this day classroom training is still the most used by companies but, according to statistics, in recent years training in e-learning has been gaining ground becoming more and more companies are betting on it.

This change is being experienced in the world of enterprise-level training is mainly motivated by the form of e-learning:

Use the tools that offer new technologies to develop customized training, available 24 hours a day at anytime, anywhere with only have a computer with headphones and an Internet connection.

Reduces spending that companies spend on training and not to pay travel, per diem, rental of rooms or audiovisual resources and reach more people even though there are long distances between work centers.

Allows continuously updated content and materials that make up a course without generating high costs.

Facilitates consultation of the doubt at any time, provided there are tutorials online, without waiting for the class schedule as in classroom training.

Training to adapt the learning pace of each student.

Reduces training time because from the outset, the training process is tailored to the individual needs of each student and student.

Enrich learning and raise the motivation of students to come to the end of the course because the courses combine learning resources and audio-visual with which you have to constantly interact. This makes the alumni be active agents in their learning process.
