Introduction

There are several reasons why the citizens of United States of America do not go for voting in local, state and national voting. The major reasons are inconvenience and cost linked with the procedure of voting at a specific time and location. The government of United States of America has tried to solve or minimize these problems and has taken actions to do so Government has tried to make citizens of the United States of America to participate actively in the voting by solving this problem and creating balloting at a more nearby places.

By this act of the government the citizens' inconvenience is reduced and money is saved. Even after creating ease for the citizens of United States of America still the new results of the voters coming to vote are not very much different from the previous ones. Hence the results showed that there is another factor involved which makes the citizens not to go for balloting. The research on this topic has shown that this factor which made the citizens not to vote is the lack of education in the specific issue. This showed that more important factor than these two reasons is the acknowledgement of the importance of the individual vote to the owner which is quite lacking in many of the citizens of the United States of America.

We will discuss several reasons why the citizens do not vote while analyzing their psychological approach to the politics, balloting, political parties, and government. This research paper will also see what steps has government taken in order to ease up its citizens and to which degree they really comfort the citizens of United States of America, or do they really create ease for the citizens or are they just there without any purpose. The steps to increase the voter turnout that the government has introduced throughout the country are relaxed registration for voters, even earlier to Election Day increased chances to vote, the opportunity to vote through email and internet.

As these are students who are the future of the nation so they should be educated on the very important issue relating to their life and fate. They should be taught and made to understand the importance of politics, political parties, role of political parties in government, the role of government in the life of citizens and the role of citizens in the selection of government. The students must be given insight about the importance of their vote and their strength as the citizen of United States of America. They should be made to understand that one individual is one vote and one vote can bring one political party to form the government or make one political party not to be successful in the results of balloting on the Election Day.
