Introduction

Eating disorders is considered as the major and critical medical condition that is associated with life threatening complications and risk factors. An individual, who is coping with this condition, may go towards the death because of this condition. Body mass index plays an important role for the detection of category according to the measured weight and height. Moreover, calorie intake is also associated with certain eating disorders because calorie intake will give complete detailed report regarding the eating disorders. The paper will discuss the case of Jane who is 22 years old female nursing student coping with the condition of ED restrictive eating. Background

Jane is 22 years old female nursing student who belong to the Dublin city. She is the middle child of Mary and living at home. She has a fused but hostile relationship with John, but he is not living with her because he works away a lot. Jane is the sister of 30 years old Marks and 20 years old Ann. She loves both of them. Mark is carried to Cathy and lives with his two children. Mary and Peter are his two children of 5 and 3 years of age respectively. Her grandmother is only living grandparent and she is living in nursing home 10 miles away from the house. Jane describes an approximate 8 years old history of ED restrictive eating patent. Her current weight is 105 Lbs with a height of 5”5. Her daily calorie intake is around 600 - 700 kcal, which is quite high. She denies purging behaviors however, referral from general physician shows potassium level of around 2.2 kcl. Russell's sign has been developed on the right hand. She also denies DSH, but scar is present on left arm. She presents herself in fair form today, but also describes a paten of “ups and downs”. She also works hard for the perfect body. She hates to disappoint other, and has been like this all of her life. She is a self reliant girl with idealized view. She thinks that her mother is able to read her mind, and knows how she is feeling. She liked this attitude of her mother, but she is the only one in the world who is able to understand her. Her mother knows outbursts of rage when she thought that her daughter is going to explode. Jane is not currently in a relationship, and also finds it difficult to keep some friends. She is very conscious about her body, and she thinks that she is not good enough. Jane is considering herself a failure at the dieting.
