Introduction

This movie is the adaptation of a best-selling novel 'Eat Pray Love' written by the author Elizabeth Gilbert. Her novel is the Memoire of her life which touched the heart of the reader. It is all about how a woman chooses to leave all glitters of her successful life, marriage career, and posh house. Instead, follows her heart and finds what she truly wanted. This story totally revolves around how a woman realized her spiritual needs, travels across three countries in search of soul and self discovery and finally finds peace with marrying again.

Ryan Murphy, director of the movie, beautifully rendered the narrations of the memoire into the enchantment of expressions with his flawless directions and the best choice of star cast. Leading role of the woman played by Julia Roberts, as Liz Gilbert. Other cast includes; James Franco as David Piccolo, Viola Davis as Delia Shiraz, Billy Crudup as Stephen (ex-husband of Gilbert), Javier Bardem as Felipe and Hadi Subiyanto as Ketut Liyer.

The story depicts the role of the woman (Gilbert), a successful writer who once had the aim to marry and raise the family. She had everything a woman dreams of having, such as a handsome loving husband, a house in posh New York suburb, and a winning career. However, she was confused in her life. She felt herself obsessed with the desire of having something else. She finally realized that she has not got her true destiny, what she was actually looking for a long time.
