Introduction

There are children who need special attention in education. It is important and essential for them to make sure that the teachers give them the best attention and also help them in gaining more education. It is important for the teachers that they develop plans in such a manner in which the child will benefit from the reading and writing activity that the teachers will develop. In this manner, the student will be able to learn more and the education system will also help the students to gain more knowledge.

Discussion

This paper is about a child who is in the fourth grade, but is unable to read. She does not know how to read even though she has been in US for 2 years and able to speak English. She is the one who is suffering from a disorder and is unable to learn in the most efficient and effective manner. It is important for the people to understand the issues that they have to face so that they can work in a relevant manner. She has come to the US from Haiti where she received very little schooling. There are special curriculums that are designed so that the children get the right education and are able to get proper knowledge (Nutbrown, et.al, 2008).

The curriculum designed by the Marsh Green Primary School mainly focuses on the developmental perspectives of children. In fact, the curriculum allows the practitioners to understand the entire development of children, and maintain high degree to care while providing education to them. In addition to care, it is also the responsibility of the school to ensure welfare of the children enrolled for the EYFS program. It is essential to point out that curriculum allows practitioners to achieve the set goals in relation to early learning and development. It would not be wrong to say that school ensures that teachers are encouraged and motivated to help children to become responsible and educated adults with healthy mind, and increased confidence. In addition, the school curriculum also ensures that, children should experience new things that will increase their knowledge. No doubt, school considers the importance of children's holistic development and empowerment, relationships and community or family when preparing curriculum. It is vital to know that curriculum has been designed by using all the four principles of Early Years Foundation Stage (Neuman & Dickinson, 2002).

The different stages in the curriculum help the students in getting the right education and knowledge. It is important for the people to understand the differences in students and also help the children in knowing as to how they should get the right knowledge. People who are suffering from disabilities should be given extra care and attention and should be helped to gain more and more knowledge.
