Introduction

E-learning is the method of learning by means of electronic technology. Nowadays, computers and computer based applications are playing an important role in e-leaning. It is the modern concept of learning, which is usually used all over the world. It decreases the need of other applications and enables a person to get intense knowledge about any subject by means of internet (Velusamy et.al, 2013). Advancement in computer technology also decreases the size of computer and now people use laptop, palmtops, and tablet PC's.

Wi-Fi technology provides wireless internet connection all over the area over which it is available. It is available in different ranges and depends upon requirement of particular area. Most of the devices like laptops, tablets and windows phones have an option of Wi-Fi. Microsoft applications also available in phones like word, PowerPoint, Excel, which enable the users to read, edit or write a document on their personal device. It increases comfort and allow the users to get rid of boring and complicated methods of learning like learning from books, papers magazines.

Most of the engineering and medical universities are using technological innovations in order to increase the learning experience of students. It is a good practice that universities encourage the students to use modern technologies. I observed this practice in King's College London - School of Medicine, UK. It is one of the most prominent universities of UK. This university maximize the use of technology and computerized, whole mechanism of area (Marwan et.al, 2013, pp. 527). All department of this university use advanced computers and related technologies, Wi-Fi is available all over the university, it also provides tablet PC's to the students who take distinctions in examination.

Internet is one of the most necessary innovations of modern world. It is widely using all over the world. It makes the life of student easy and stress free. Now student can get intense knowledge about any subject, learn about new innovations, prepare notes for exams, and also can use it for getting entertainment. Most of the universities provide free access to internet to their students in order to provide absolute facilities to their students. It is necessary for students to get most of the technological advancement (Gil et.al, 2013). It is used to share information all over the world.

King's College London - School of Medicine has its own server system, which enhances their data sharing capabilities. It is connected to other systems of the university which provide access to other systems. It has password protection system; it means no unauthorized person can access the data. It is beneficial for students because they can access the library and get material for their assignments and notes. Library of the university can be access all over the world by means of internet. The server is protected from password protection and different firewalls. Students and teachers may share the data regarded the subject on server.
