E-Commerce Solutions - Potential of the UK market

The United Kingdom is known as the largest potential market places of e-commerce along with high internet rates of usage. According to researchers at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), the UK has the potential market for e-Commerce and it is the most-internet based economies around the world (Raza 2011, pp.01-06). In the year of 2010, the worth was £121 billion of the UK economy. Than other countries, UK is growing is faster and it contributes more than 8% in the economy of United Kingdom. BBC reported (2010) that UK is more focused towards its online retailing and all purchases which were done over the internet. It is also forecasted by the experts that the rate of online retailing will be increased up to 23% by the year of 2016. It is projected that the continuity of retailing over the internet will be expanded at the rate of 11% of every year for the next four years. As a result, the total worth of the UK economy will be £221bn by the year of 2016. Ultimately, the future growth of the online retailing of United Kingdom will be higher than the United States of America (5.4%) and China (6.9%) by 2016 (Raza 2011, pp.01-06).

Office for National Statistics (2011) stated that 66% of the adults which represents 32 million people in UK purchased products and services through online retailing in the year of 2011. There was a significant increase that shows the positive change of 62% in the year of 2010. It is also reported that the group of older people which are around of 65 years or more than, were not interested to report goods (clothing/sporting) as the popular purchase through online retailing (Raza 2011, pp.01-06).

eBay is the big online marketplace in the world where buyers and sellers meet together for trading anything. eBay is committed for delivering many benefits and facilities to all merchants and buyers. E-commerce solutions are stock integration, order integration, listing items on eBay, one click updates, and Paypal account for the purpose of secure payment (Aquinas 1994, pp.05-16).
