Using Electronic business techniques helps companies to integrate their external and internal data with more efficiency and litheness. E-business serves as a method by which different parts of the business cycle can be linked more closely, which not only creates a balance in the internal organization but also helps building healthier customer relationship. E-business is a term which refers to strategic focus which is earned, by the use of more electronic devices while on the other hand, e-commerce is merely a subset of the business strategy involving e-business (Boundless, 2013). E-commerce is a platform which facilitates different business transactions, it includes different telecommunication networks. E-business includes the tasks of customer services and various intra business errands.

It won't be wise to call e-business just as Internet business; the arms of e-business are far reaching. E-business strategy is necessary for every company who involve Internet for business purposes. It not only defines short term goals but also involves the skillful and careful planning of long term objectives. E-Business strategy does not include Internet Businesses only. An e-business strategy is essential to any organization conducting business over the Internet. It defines both your short-term and long-term e-business goals and involves careful and skilled planning. E-business strategies involves making of different corporate strategies and business plans, and also is a tool which connects to other plans, which include marketing, Research and development plans and strategic IT plans (Learnebusiness, 2013).

E-business plays an integral part in improving the systems and functions of a company, making them more effective performance wise and more cost effective. E-business is an important tool when is used by many organizations to reduce costs. Processes like value chains, electronic purchasing, and supply chain management, electronic processing of orders, customer care and relationship, and cooperation with business partners is made easy and cost effective by the use of E-business. Technical standards specially designed for e-business improves the efficiency of exchanges between different companies. Different e-business software's make integration between different firms's smooth, making intra-firm business and inter-firm businesses more efficient. The conduction of e-business can be through Internet, Intranet, extranet, or by any combination of these sources. (Boundless, 2013).

The current market conditions are such that without the use of e-business and e-commerce, it is hard to operate. Every business has to include a business strategy from the basis of e-commerce. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) have brought a renaissance in the modern global market. The use ICT has enhanced the process of mass customization, increasing productivity and reducing costs (Boundless, 2013).

The company we are dealing with is a retailer of high street clothes, named, Highstyle. Through the use of e-business cost reduction strategy, it will enable Highstyle to reduce its costs on a major scale.
