Introduction

There are some children who have normal intelligence or beyond normal intelligence and yet cannot perform well in their studies. These types of children have come cross to every one of us particularly teachers. The difficulties these children faces related with reading the text and numbers. However, this is reading disabilities that arise when a child's brain does not properly understand the process of the specified symbols. We will see a lot children going through this problem due to their inability of dealing with text and numbers.

This problem been known as Dyslexia that is a poor academic performance caused by disturbance in the brain which creates problems in reading, writing, spelling and numbers.Dyslexia is define as a disorder a child experience in the classroom and fails to understand the reading skills, writing skills, Phonology skills and spelling difficulty with rhyme appropriate with their academic abilities. Generally, this is an ordinary disability a children faces and this can continue all the way through life. The cause of dyslexia is not because of the vision problem, hearing problem or brain damage or anything like this but because of the brain which cannot interpret or decode the descriptions or images received from the eyes or ears into unambiguous language.

Research shows that children suffering from dyslexia will manage to overcome with their difficulties if the dyslexia nature understood early. For this purpose, proper training is needed for teachers to identify these problems within a child. Researchers from the last several years have focused on the area that is related to the Genetic evidence. This shows that dyslexia has an important genetic section. This is similar to the one with the normal variation in reading and learning, so no definite conclusion had been made yet (Castles, 1997).

Discussion

If appropriate educational support provided to the dyslexic individuals, these children can learn to read and write as there is no treatment for this disease. However, most present argument is regarding the poor reading is due to low IQ. According to (Stanovitch, Siegel & Gottardo, 1997) phonological problems are possesses by all poor readers, so there is nothing differentiate with high IQ or low IQ. There are certain theories and practices for the teaching of children who are suffering from dyslexia. These theories and continuous use of these practices help children to over come their weakness.

The phonological theory and Rapid auditory processing theory

This theory related with the impairment of the sound manipulation that affects the auditory memory, word recall, and sound association skills. If a sound is not properly presented then the child will have a problem in understanding the exact sound be affected accordingly (Bradley & Bryant, 1978; Vellutino, 1979; Snowling, 1981; Brady & Shankweiler, 1991). A substitute of phonological theory is rapid auditory processing theory which state that the problems dyslexia children suffer is with the perception of varying sounds, which affect their performance on auditory tasks that also comprises discrimination of the frequency and temporal order judgment.
