Introduction

Living in a world today where rights and prerogatives have been clearly defined and identified, it becomes rather difficult for us to analyse and comprehend that discrimination and differentiation prevails even in a profession as noble as nursing. I am of the opinion that the same kind of treatment should be provided to all clients, irrespective of their ethnic backgrounds, since nursing in essence is humanistic and knows no cultural boundaries.
