Introduction

The definition of drug, as signified by World health Organization stimulates as any material when taken inside the body of any living organism, modifies the functions of the body, which not related to the characteristic of that person. A “Drug” manufactured by Poppy seed. Poppy plant being cultivated since 4000BC by Sumerians (Iraq) which provided them opium (meaning happiness and joy). This seed is can also be used for the treatment of various diseases. The most common types of drugs that consumed are,

Alcohol (Intoxicate every part of human body. Person loses his control over his brain and activities. Usually puts a person to sleep. In 2009, almost 59.2% of Americans had almost had alcohol at least one in their lifetime) 

Cocaine (Tends to stimulatesthe nervous systemm, usually, snorted, injected or smokes. It usually makes the consumer euphoric and more energetic. In 2009 almost 4.2 Million Americans addicted to it.)

Marijuana (Most conventional, illegal drug. It drives euphoria, memory impairments, and difficulty in thinking. In 2009, almost 29% of Americans whad abused Marijuana one in their life)

Discussion

Drugs are legal and illegal. Legal drugs includes; paregoric elixir (a common sedative), stimulants (e.g., amphetamines), alcohol (e.g., beer and wine), over-the-counter medications and sedatives (e.g., barbiturates) and illegal are heroines, marijuana, LSD & PCP. Illegal drug affects central nervous system which is brain and spinal cord. They regarded as psychoactive drugs. (Forrest, 1992)

Drugs sales contributes to the 15% of total countries expenditure in international trade, 75% usage, is of only marijuana, while 18 % use it with other drugs. Marijuana population is 6.2% of whole America population. 13.5 Million People consume opiates whose major market is Asia. Previously, drug user's uses to import them, now drug dealers, have taken over the authority and apparent competition prevails.
