Abstract

This paper has drawn attention to the issue of domestic violence and also explains the criminal behavior of domestic violence in women. Domestic violence is described as the process of abusive behaviors by one partner against the other in every intimate relationship. Domestic violence can be in terms of physical abuse, verbal, psychological and emotional abuse. Awareness, definition and the perceptions related to domestic violence may vary from country to country. Domestic violence affects the physical, mental and psychological state of a person.
