There are basically two types of dog behaviors, one that stems from the genetic effects such as hide bones and another that follows the learning effect. The focus of this study is to emphasize on the behavior of various breeds. Factors such as immaturity ease of training, aggression, hunting, playfulness and reactivity will be taken under consideration. Furthermore, this study will help to explore if genetics and environment influences the behavior of dogs. Understanding a Dog's behavior is very important for the relationship of dogs with their owners.
Pack Mentality
A number of dog owners face behavioral issues with their dogs. In order to have a healthy relationship with the dog, it is essential for the owner to understand the pack behavior of a dog and how it relates to the home atmosphere (Fugazza, & Miklósi, 2014). The foundation for this relationship is to find out how to be the leader of your pack. What is known family to us, a dog sees it as his pack. Inherently, dogs are a social pack animal. Thus, dogs have a controlled leadership pecking order. At the top of the pack is the alpha or dominant dog. This dog places the rules which are accepted by other pack members. The pack drive is consisted of two key factors: submission and dominance. A dog might take on whichever role in the playground, but at home it is significant that he submit to you (Coren, & Hodgson, 2011).

Appearance
Appearance of dogs varies from medium to large. Usually females measure between 54 and 56 cm at the withers, and males between 56 and 57. The withers are the highest point of the shoulder, before the neck. The size is measured from this point to the floor. A dog in good shape (not fat) weighs on average between 37 and 42 pounds, depending on sex and genetics. Their coats are twofold and have hair (harder and longer) and an undercoat that looks like a short, soft and more opaque color.
