It is said that reinforcement may control children's behaviors which is true to some extent for achievement of short term learning methods but they cannot lead a child to behave effectively in future according to the situation. The process of molding behaviors by controlling the results of actions is called reinforcement theory. In this theory a mixture of positive (rewards) reinforcement and negative (punishment) reinforcement are used to strengthen the desired behaviors or to put out the unwanted ones. It concentrates over the relationship between the behavior and the associated results (Skinner 1953).
