Folkoric creatures or mythical creatures are depicted as combination of two or more animals, half animal, or in full human form for example it resembles human beings. We have other examples to understand it better such as Marmaid which was initially mentioned in British folkore and today even it is seen as half human and half fish creature. Unlike these there are many mythical creatures such as werewolves and vampires. We have heard of all sort of dangerous creatures and monsters such as Mothman, Chupacabra, etc (Cybulski, 2004). These unknown dangerous creatures are known as cryptid. In many unsolved and solved mysteries we can see different type of cryptid. Today, in this paper we are going to discuss the story of whose existence is a very debatable issue. Many stories related werewolf are rooted in reality. The difficulty is mainly to distinguish between facts and fables. Here is a discussion about the existence of werewolves they really exist or is just a fiction. The purpose of this paper is to let readers know whether werewolves' existence is reality or just a myth.

The belief that a man can be transformed into a predatory animal is not unique to the western world. Werewolves really need no introduction. It is a word that has been formed by the combination of two words. War which means human as male and wolf means a monster. The werewolf is said to be half wolf and half man. According to legends, a werewolf becomes full fledge wolf on full moon night (Pipe, 2008). Unsuspected humans are than bitten by these werewolves. These unsuspecting people either turn into werewolves or die. Generally, these creatures are known to be satanic evil beast and twisted in its acts whether they are eating fresh corpses or biting other untainted beings. The myth of the werewolf existence is very ancient and common to many people. Already in the fifth century BC, Herodotus relates that the Greeks who settled on the shores of the Black Sea saw the inhabitants of these regions as magicians were able to transform a human into wolves. Werewolves are people who turn into monsters in the light of the full moon. Practically in every culture on the planet, there are mentions of such creatures as werewolves.
