Diversity Education is based upon the idea to develop the knowledge and awareness about diversity amongst individuals. In addition, with making efforts to develop the attitudes towards diversity, diversity education also instills necessary practice amongst the incumbents to improve their diversity skills. In addition, Ely (2004) comments that changes in the workforce demographics have led the companies to consider evaluating and changing their organizational culture. This cultural change in organizations focuses towards training an employee to become more accepting towards others. Along with, shedding of all stereotypes by an individual's against anyone who belongs from a different background. The scholars argue that the world is fast becoming a global village. The latter phenomenon has demarcated the geographical barriers amongst countries, aided with the advancement of technology. Through, the widespread use of the Internet, any person from any corner of the world can connect with another person living in a different part of the globe. Such geographic and technological demarcation has rendered individuals to engage with people from different cultures and ethnicity. Thus, diversity education facilitates individuals to learn and respect other cultures and their ethnicities.
