Discussion

Synergy

Synergy is when two objects or even two people act the same way to achieve a certain goal. It is used also to talk about synergy couples and levels of friendships, where people strive hard to make the relationship work, to work, where the two parties do the same thing. An example of synergy is when there are only two alternatives, between two people, instead of them discuss about the best, they seek a third, i.e. the option synergistic, and harmonious (Wolfe et al., 2005).

Synergy is also a very important concept in a business context, because within a company, it is important to have synergy among different departments, so that joint action would result in the company's success. When there is synergy, there is a chance to accelerate and ensure the success of an enterprise. Jobs and work forces are complementary, responsibilities are divided appropriately, and the communication is constant.

Thus, a working group is a set of two or more individuals who are interacting and interdependent, it is, therefore, a group that interacts primarily to share information and make decisions to help each member to better execute their tasks within their area of responsibility. A group has no conditions or opportunity to engage in collective work that requires joint effort, because its performance is merely the sum of the contributions of each individual member. There is no positive synergy that can generate an extraordinary level of performance that exceeds the sum of individual contributions.

Team can be used by four following ways:

Objective: While the group aims to share information, the team is focused on collective performance and integrated. The team can be used by working on a mutual objective.

Synergy: while the group has synergy neutral, and often negative, the team is able to develop positive synergy. Synergy is an important part in team.

Liability: while the group is characterized by individual responsibility and isolated, the team is characterized by individual responsibility and mutual, collective and solidarity among members. So, the team can be used by assigning responsibility between members.

Skills: while the group uses random and varied skills of its members, the team is characterized by complementarily of skills of its members to carry out a common task, joint and ...
