There are many challenges that the students may encounter while working with their dissertation committee. For example, lack of support to from the committee member, this means those people who are working with committee find it difficult to consult with their respective professional or active scholar. Thus, they find it confusing regarding what to do and who they should approach (Jalongo, 2007). Another issue regarding the dissertation committee is the “contradictory recommendation” due to which students find it difficult to process with their dissertation (Rudestam, 2007, p. 206).
