The short story that has been chosen from the course text is “Cathedral”, and the writer of that story is Raymond Caver. It started with an excursion of a man who is blind and his friendship with his wife. As the story goes on there is a transition to the narrative of first person when he starts sharing his emotions regarding the blind man in the story as he comes for staying with the couple.
