The effects of poverty for second grade students at Arbor Hill Elementary School is that the socio-economic status of lower income students had a high impact on performance of the students as poverty restricts the capability and efficiency of the child. As poverty can have a negative impact on student score when a child is unable to achieve their desired they will not attain admirable results, and they will lack behind among the middle and upper class students in the class.
