Do you think that the society has a responsibility to help the elderly and assist them with the financial difficulties that they face?

Yes! In my point of view the society and adults have the responsibility for taking care of elderly. This becomes clearer if everyone thinks that he or she would also have to go through the same age and suffer from the same problems which the elderly in society are facing.
