ABSTRACT
In this study we try to explore the concept of “Discrimination” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Discrimination” and its relation with “workplace environment”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “discrimination” and tries to gauge its effect on “organizational development”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “discrimination occurring at the work place” and tries to describe the overall effect on “the overall acceleration and growth of the organization”.

Introduction
Once the research aim has been finalized in terms of initiating the research study, it shall trickle down to smaller, more achievable targets, which could actually make way towards the development and understanding of the research, which shall contribute immensely for a funnel, specific and coherent research study. The research objectives identified with reference to the research are discussed below:
How has discrimination influenced our workforce today?
How significant is the impact of discrimination in our workplace environment?
What factors are responsible for employees to attempt and perform acts of discrimination?
What impact discrimination has upon workplace development and targets?
How can discrimination be, if not completely removed, reduced to a certain extent, which could aid the establishment of a better workforce and a healthier working environment in the organization?
Personal Statement
The option of choosing discrimination was never a difficult one. Being an experienced individual, corporate world, serving in the industry, I have come across several facets and ideas, where individuals tend to make way for opting and practicing discrimination as part of their daily routine. While it may become to them as something very normal and part of their practice; however, it must be understood that what impacts and consequences are associated with discrimination being practiced in the workplace.
Discrimination has always been a major bone of contention for all workplaces across the globe. Since the beginning and inception of differences that have hit our mind, be it be caste, creed, race, religion, religious practices or even the basic colour of our skin, discrimination has been involved in all facets, all aspects and all areas of life as we know it.
