This initiate requires significant training and investment of resources, so as to enable the employees to be able to identify the needs of the special customers. The brand image factors have also pushed the modern day organizations to invest in enhancing the communication channels with the disabled consumers, as it will create a positive and strong global brand value. Introduction

In the context of the contemporary global society, the general population has become highly aware of the rights of various different societal shareholders. The groups of people such as the mentally-physically challenged individuals have had to suffer a great deal of biased policies throughout recent history. In the traditional perspective the overall society had negative views regarding the disabled individuals, and most of these perceptions were formed due to misguided and uninformed opinions. However with the advancements in the modern field of medicine and technology, it has now been clearly established that the various forms of human disability are not negative phenomenon (Aiello & Catania, 1983). Rather these conditions are solely medical conditions, and like any other form of disability can be treated with proper medicine and care. This is the reason why the modern regulatory authorities have established a proactive role in providing the disabled community with equal rights initiative, by encouraging their participation in the various socio economic roles.

The general population of the overall global society has also drastically changed its outdated and traditional perception regarding the disabled individuals, as it now supports and encourages equal treatment. The pressures from the regulatory authorities present in the majority of the developed countries and the general population has caused the business sector to make positive changes in its culture and policies to deal with the disabled stakeholders. In the perspective of a company, the employees must have the adequate skills and ability to interact with the disabled customers as these customers require special and additional care and attention. The employees cannot seek to ignore the needs of these customers, because such an action can lead to a highly negative outcome for the company, in terms of its brand image.
