The economic integration and the diplomatic relations are considered to be the important steps taken by the government authorities of any country. They play an important role in enhancing the position of the countries and maintaining prosperity in them. The United States and Russia are trying to enhance their economic relations that can help to improve the overall strategic conditions of the region. The research study emphasizes different areas that would be benefitted through the economic integration among the two countries. In the past, cold war between the Untied States and Russia created hurdles in developing and maintaining economic integration between the two countries. The war for the global dominance made both of the countries to adopt unkind behaviour with each other. However, the present situation reflects changed picture since the Presidents of both the countries have shook hands for giving way to the economic integration in their region. The good economic and diplomatic relationship between United States and Russia will also bring peace in the two regions that will benefit their neighbouring countries as well. The trade between the United States and Russia has shown positive trend that further improves the situation between the two countries. Different investment programs have also been started by the multinational firms that have started their operations in both of the countries. Recently, the Presidents of the two countries meet each other to enhance the economic cooperation in order to improve the bilateral relations between the United States and Russia. The two countries have also shaken hands for fighting complex issues like corruption, terrorism, large proliferation of weapons and arms and others such issues.

The new era of diplomatic relationship will give rise to the peace process between the United States and Russia that will benefit the two regions in numerous ways.

The research study will highlight the benefits that will be enjoyed by both of the regions in terms of enhanced economic growth with the trading and investment opportunities availed by both of the countries (Aslund & Andrew, 2009, p. 156-196).
