There is a very major impact of the multinational transformation on the delivery of news. The innovations in the multimedia technologies have brought great transformation in the delivery of news in terms of innovations and advancements.

Discussion

The recent era is the era of technology. The technology has transformed almost all the sectors of the world. Just like the other major sectors, the news industry has also undergone the major transformation in terms of the popularity of multimedia technology. Internet and television are one of the greatest technologies which have transformed the news industry and the delivery of news. The different available news sources which are present on internet are real time on-demand audio and video, animations, graphical interfaces etc. The use of multimedia has continuously transformed the delivery of news to the electronic delivery. Now, people do not have to wait for the next morning to get aware about the current news and happenings. The different multimedia channels like internet and television facilitate the people to know about the happenings of world in a second (Quintana, 1996a, p. 9). According to the estimations, the number of online newspapers has increased from 20 in 1993 to 800 in the beginning of 1996.

The use of electronic use has become very familiar among the people. Another advantage is the information and the news which are saved and the user can access this news anytime they want. The reason is the effective organization and the design of the user interface that attracts people to go for the option of multimedia technologies. The article “The Media and the Middle East” is about the way through which the news helps in creating the understanding of the Middle East, Islam and Muslims. In this article, the author claims that television and the newspapers are the main sources which provide information about the Middle East. The author has described the different issues prevailing with the American journalism. According to the author, the main issue prevailing with the American journalists is the lack of expertise (Kelley, 2012, pp. 2). The author reports that the news from the different sources creates the stereotype image. He explains this with the example than when someone sees that there are problems in Middle East and the area is suffering from crisis then it develops the stereotype image among people that nobody in Middle East is living a normal life.

On the other hand, Paul Grabowicz has discussed the transformation of journalism into the digital journalism. The use of internet has increased the popularity of digital news and with the advancements of digital news people are attracting more towards the digital delivery of news as compared to the traditional delivery of news.
