Did Jesus claim to be God?

There is no evidence in Scripture that Jesus said clearly: "I am God." But this does not mean he does not proclaim his divinity. Consider Jesus' words in John 10:30 "I and the Father are one." At first glance, might not seem to be here because he claims to divinity. See the reaction of the Jews at the time this statement, "to act as good Nskol you, that if the Gdfc God and that the person you are and IMI yourself to God" (John 10:33). The Jews understood Jesus' claim of divinity. These verses later Jesus corrects the Jews by so saying, "I do not claim to be God." This suggests to us that Jesus really was God by declaring, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30). John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, "Amen, amen, I say to you, Before Abraham was I am he." Again in response, the Jews took up stones with the intention to throw Jesus (John 8:59). Why did the Jews want to stone Jesus if they thought he was saying something blasphemous against God as to declare that he was God?

Thomas the disciple declared regarding Jesus, "My Lord and my God" (John 10:28). Jesus did not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the arrival of God and Savior - Jesus the messiah (see also second Peter 1:1). Al Hebrews 1:8; God the Father declares Jesus, "but the son says: throne of God, forever and ever, King clan clan level." Angel in Revelation the apostle John gives instruction to praise the only God (Revelation 19:10). Excellent Scripture repeatedly praise Jesus (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 17, 28:9; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). Jesus never rebukes those who praised him, if Jesus was not God, he would have made it to the people who praised him as a parent angel in Revelation. There are many other verses that support the divinity of Jesus.

Did Jesus need to be born of a virgin?

In the slave market only a freeman could purchase a slave. Mankind has been a slave to sin since the fall of Adam and Eve. Only a man free from sin could purchase mankind from the slave market of sin. Jesus had to have a human body to live as a man and to live a sinless life. His blood could not be human or He would inherit the same sin nature as the rest of mankind. Nary provided Jesus' human body but the blood that ran through His veins was not human blood from an earthly father but God's blood, pure and sinless. He was the only man ever born free of sin (Childs, 53).

But there was a further reason why the virgin birth was essential. Jesus was born of the royal line of David and was the rightful heir to the throne of Israel. At the time of Jesus' birth, Israel had a King called Herod but he wasn't even Jewish. There had not ...
