Introduction

In order to overcome the issue of healthcare and nutrition in the society, a new healthcare centre by the name of The Millennium Care and Nursing Home, has been proposed to be launched in the United States. The main aim of the health care centre would be to take special care of people who are suffering from diabetes and other harmful diseases which cost them their lives. The main function of The Millennium Care and Nursing Home would be out-patient setting and to help them live a better life with proper healthcare and nutrition.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease more prevalent in older people, having a large increase in recent years due primarily to increased expectations of life of the general population, increased patient survival with diabetes and a higher incidence of diabetes as a result of changes in lifestyles. Diabetes is a chronic disease and it is difficult to treat. In the treatment of diabetes the focus must be on medical necessity for the management / avoidance as possible in the short term and long-term problems related to diabetes. There is an exceptionally important role for patient education, nutritional support, reasonable exercise, and self-monitoring of blood sugar, in order to maintain both short-term and long-term blood sugar levels within acceptable limits.

There is a need for precise control to reduce the risk of complications in the long term. This can be achieved in theory with groups of exercise, diet and weight loss (type 2), and various drugs by mouth for patients with diabetes (type 2 only), and the use of insulin (Type 1 and Type 2 do not respond to oral medications, mostly patients with diabetes for a long time).
