Mac Dinh Chi Bookstore is one of the large-scale bookstores in Ho Chi Minh town, opened on October, 1995. Because of having numerous types of books, numerous customers come to the bookstore everyday. Therefore, the administration becomes more complex. According to our survey the bookstore, there are many disadvantages: ascertaining the allowance of books

Controlling customers

Losing customers because the bookstore is opened too late - 9:00 AM - and shut too early - 16:00 PM. To overwhelm the disadvantages above, the bookstore should have a world wide web application--Online publication trading --so that the bookstore can manage publications easily and provide customers' demand any place at any time.

Project Goal

This project is evolved to help Mac Dinh Chi Bookstore improve numerous benefits (please see recount of the Problem above). In supplement, it is furthermore befitting for customers who want to purchase publications without wasting time.

For customers:

Browse the publication catalogue from a web browser any place that has internet access

o         Browse the catalogue by categories.

o         Search for books based on ISBN, title, publisher, or price.

Get comprehensive publications' data from the world wide web catalogue.

Register to buy books.

Send messages to manage of bookstore to ask more books' data or recommendation.

For administrators:

Browse the bookstore catalogue from a world wide web browser within the bookstore network.

o         Browse the catalogue by categories.

o         Search for books with any information.

Insert the books that the clientele bought.

Check books that customers buy and notify them about the expected time of publications' arrival.
