Purpose of Study

Before any study the purpose of the study must be carefully defined. The purpose of the research is important because if the purpose of the research is not properly understood than the study will not be properly conducted and hence the results too will not be appropriate. The purpose of this study is to find out that whether the satisfactions of the patients' with the hospital stay will increase if they are provided flexible and better meal options. In this study various tools will be employed in order to get the accurate and authentic information. There will be appropriate selection of the sample for the study. Similarly, the experimental and control groups will also be defined in the study. There will also be the indication of the study time period. Furthermore, the type of the data gathered will also be discussed in this study. The primary purpose of the study is actually determining the relationship between the satisfaction of patients with the hospital stay and the meal. The patients' views about the current meal of the hospital will also be identified in this research. Similarly, it will also be considered in this study that whether the patients have any suggestions about the meal.

Selection of subjects for study (Sample)

In any study the selection of the sample is of pivotal importance (Flick, 2008). The sample should be selected on the keeping in mind the target group of the research or study.
