Abstract

After major trauma, usually Post Traumatic Stress Disorder occurs which is colloquially known as PTSD, after a frightening or a terrible event it usually happens. It can happen in people with disorder in any age, any disturbing event can cause the disorder in them like a disturbing event of death of some rescuers, fire burnt people and killing of people in the Police action can cause the Post-traumatic stress disorder in the police officers and can eventually affect their psyche. Some people use to consult psychologist, and they help people to overcome their mental stress. The research paper is based on the Dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders and how the PTSD may or may not develop in a person who has been exposed to a traumatic event, depending on individual predisposing factors (vulnerability) and the nature of the traumatic event. Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) has a negative effect on the life of people as it hinder their daily performance and they are unable to perform the most basic tasks. The Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has been most frequently studied following disaster though in the center stage role, some investigators have cautioned long against perpetuating the PTSD diagnosis.

The policemen and the law enforcing agency officers in United States and other parts of the world, often face many difficulties and problems in dealing with the riots and the criminals they face in their daily routine. This has a particular acute affect on their psyche and disorderness in their behavior if often noticeable. After major trauma, usually Post Traumatic Stress Disorder occurs which is colloquially known as PTSD, after a frightening or a terrible event it usually happens. Post-traumatic stress disorder usually happens with everyone who suffers an acute problem or a terrible or frightening mishappening like a bomb-blast, explosion, fire rescue etc. but in Police, it usually has many negative effects, as they have to suffer for long term Post-traumatic stress disorder takes place in them and last for many years.
