Introduction

David Berkowitz, a serial killer known as the Son of Sam, complained that his murdering activity was compelled upon him by demon voices in his head. Berkowitz was born out of wedlock on June 1, 1953, to Betty Falco and her boyfriend Joseph Kleinman, but was adopted by Nat and Pearl Berkowitz soon after his birth. They gave him a somewhat normal upbringing in the Bronx, New York. It was documented that he was a loner and had an inclination to bully his peers. He became even more introverted after Pearl Berkowitz's death in 1967. Four years later his father remarried and shifted to Florida. Berkowitz remained in New York, but inside a couple of months connected the Army. He served for three years.

 

Berkowitz's Childhood:

David Berkowitz, born June 1, 1953, was the taken up child of Nathan and Pearl Berkowitz. The family dwelled in a middle-class dwelling in the Bronx. The twosome loved and doted on their child yet Berkowitz increased up feeling turned down and scorned because of being adopted. His dimensions and look did not assist matters. He was bigger than most of the children his age and not especially attractive. His parents were not communal persons and Berkowitz pursued in that route, evolving a status for being a loner.

 

Berkowitz was plagued with Guilt and Anger:

Berkowitz was a mean scholar and did not display any specific flair for any one subject. He did, although; evolve into a decent baseball contestant who became his major out-of-doors activity. Around the district he had a status for being hyper and a bully. Believing his natural mother past away while giving birth to him was the source of strong guilt and wrath interior Berkowitz. Some accept as factual it was the cause for his anti-social and hard-hitting demeanor as a child.

 

The Death of His Mother:

Pearl Berkowitz had a reoccurrence with breast cancerous infection and past away in 1967. Berkowitz was shocked and became harshly depressed. He examined his mother's death as an expert contrive conceived to decimate him. He started to go incorrect in school and expended most all of his time alone. When his dad remarried in 1971, his new wife did not get along with the juvenile Berkowitz, and the freshly got married twosome shifted to Florida departing 18-year-old Berkowitz behind.

 

Berkowitz Reunites with His Birth Mother:

Berkowitz connected the armed detachment and after a catastrophic three years he left the service. During that time he had his one and only sexy know-how with a prostitute and apprehended a venereal disease. When he returned dwelling from the armed detachment, he discovered out his natural mother was still living and that he had a sister. There was a short reunion, but finally Berkowitz halted visiting. His isolation, fantasies, and paranoid delusions were now in full force.
