Abstract

In the competitive enterprises, features of most of the business functions have been modified by the E-business. The functions of the e-business are the ERP i.e. Enterprise Resource Planning, the linked systems like the CRM i.e. Customer Relationship Management, and the SCM i.e. Supply Chain Management. In the e-business, the data mining has emerged as an area of fundamental and practical research. The effectual knowledge management (KM) develops the functioning effectiveness, develops products, creates customer satisfaction, paces deployment, and boosts the profits and sales. The objective of this paper is to create a relation with the e-business, knowledge management, and DM, and how these can improve the performance of the business. Consequently, in the beginning the paper will present a brief review on the existing e-business, KM, DSS and data mining. Second thing will be the discussion of knowledge process, knowledge management, and their need for the incorporation with the e-business. Third thing will be the prologue of the data mining and its examination in the environment of the data warehouse. Next will be the explanation of the e-business and using this description the knowledge process frameworks and -business application architecture with the business process will be discussed. Furthermore, the knowledge management and Integrating Intelligent Decision Support System with the model of data mining will be discussed. In the end, the benefits of the data mining and knowledge management in the business performance will be discussed. This will present the planned architecture of knowledge management and will discuss that how the data mining and decision support system along with the knowledge management improves the business performance.
