Introduction

“Deciding what to measure and how to measure is one of the most important steps in planning a quantitative study” (Miller, et.al, 2010, p.163). This requires that before starting collection of data there must be complete information about various important aspects associated with the research. According to Vogt there are various important areas that need to be considered before starting qualitative research such as choosing between confidence intervals and measures of statistical significance on the basis of research question, hypothesis and other basic information (Vogt, 2007).
