Effective management in the critical and sensitive area of Social Sciences is a factor that can be of crucial importance when it comes to the analysis of human behavior and in the study of behavioral patterns. It is an instrumental study which is aimed at the improvement of the behavior exhibited by people in a social setting. Community Sector Management is that branch of the sciences that deals with the behaviors, actions and reactions of the people in a particular community. It is a very wide spanning field with branches that spread to various areas of science (Izzi, B., Amaral, L., & Reed-Tsochas, F. 2007).

Being a Social Sciences student, the aspect of management and especially the management of people and their activities is my unique selling point. In a versatile and diverse environment involving people from all sorts of backgrounds and social characteristics, I am able to come up with various plans of action in order to make optimum use of the environment and my current abilities in order to take full advantage of situations. Social Sciences teach you to blend into any environment which many would shy away from. It helps you to build that level of confidence that one needs in order to effectively communicate and handle situations in which a large and diverse group of people exists. I am a second year student, currently studying Community Sector Management at the University. I am good with children, adults and everyone in general. As a student, I am learning at the same time. I believe that the student life provides you with the relevant resources and gives you a margin or leverage that you can utilize in order to grow and further enhance your skills. Due to the nature of my job, I am advancing more in my relationship in dealing with people and children of all kind in the society. I have previously work in the community, in an after school club and it was my responsibility to monitor the children's welfare, setting up and clearing away of equipments. I also maintain good working relationship with the parents, like discussing issues about the wellbeing of their children and observing and taking records and reporting with regards to their progress to their parents or the manager. During outdoors activities, I supervise children individually, sometimes I work in a small group letting them aware of their boundaries, providing also out of school opportunities by supporting the planning program which fully reflect children's diverse and individual needs. Also I do partake in the planning and feedback section once a week. It is imperative that the behavior of these children is studied systematically and scientifically.
